Okay, maybe I'm showing off, but I have bragging rights, as ( in my opinion) I have the best and hippest family in history. I occasionally get questions about my kids, especially from my regular clients that have had the pleasure of meeting them. They are often in the shop helping out or just supplying a few laughs. One of the most common questions I get is "Are you raising your children in your religion?" My answer would have to be yes. While it is ultimately their decision what spiritual path they embark on, they do attend weekly rituals with me, and are treated like family by my Houmphor (a Vodou term used to mean coven or the group I worship with). Hubby Louie does not practice Vodou but he does fully support me in my path. Having the "insider" knowledge of what Vodou is really all about, he also supports the children being raised with this influence in their lives.Feel free to scan through my family album.
