Here's an interesting piece of southern political satire from the 1960s. The Cracker Crumble, a biting Southern political satire event, is (and was) an annual fund raising stage production for the Georgia Press Association. Over the years, Cracker Crumble has evolved into an exclusive black tie gala attended by newspaper publishers and editors, state politicians, lobbyists and public relations executives.
This obscure LP is sure to be of interest to regular attendees of the Cracker Crumble event, featuring Cracker Crumble pioneers Elsie Griner, Jr. and her brother pianist Geunie Griner. I haven't played the LP, but the great cartoon on the cover implies that the musical barbs are directed at LBJ, the Ku Klux Klan, Stokely Carmichael, Lester Maddox, segregation in schools, local politicians, etc...
There is no track listing offered on the cover or on the label.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless otherwise noted, all of the LPs we are offering are used. Our grading system for each LP is strictly visual, as we don't have time to listen to each record from beginning to end. Unless otherwise stated, there is usually a small price sticker affixed somewhere on the back cover.
