I know of a few long time jazz autograph collectors (myself included) who have never even seen a signed photo of Chet Baker - this is not somehting that you'll likely run into again anytime soon. Unfortunately, the photo is damaged as can be seen in the scan (click on the above image for a close up). It also appears that someone tried to erase something directly below the signature and drew a line and a circle over the erased area (you have to wonder what people are thinking when they do stuff like this!) The signature and image still look great, though. Signed in fountain pen and inscribed to Tom & Kathy, this great vintage piece of one of jazz's most tragic figures was probably originally obtained in the late 40s or early 50s.
