Click above image for larger picture and better detail. OK, here's a great photo of a band for which all my research yielded nothing. But such a great picture! This photo postcard of the Arthur Binning Orchestra looks to have been taken in the 1910s. Might be a jazz band, might be pre jazz - I just don't know. But that sure is an extensive pile of saxophones piled in front of the band! I also love the sign that declares: "Now Playing"! Mr. Binning has signed on the back: "Arthur A. Binning 1000 Island Park N.Y. To Irene" A mysterious but fun photo measuring 3.5 x 5", in excellent condition. Return to Autographs A-F |
